Coldest Riviera Winter in 40 Years

"Is it cold in here, or is it just me?"

No, it’s not your imagination; it really is colder this year.  With average temps so far running 11.3°C (52.3°F), it’s starting out to be the coldest winter in 40 years …and just a hair away from the coldest in 60 years!  The grey skies haven’t done much for our mood, either.  Okay, it’s not like we’re in Paris, with snow dumps immobilizing the entire city, but still… here in the South we get cranky if we don’t have our sun, and last month there were 9 days without a break in the cloud cover.  Is it Global Warming?  All I know is that a few years ago the Nice Carnival theme was Climate Change, and during the space of one afternoon’s parade, it rained, got sunny, and then …snowed!   www.nicematin.com/article/cote-dazur/pourquoi-ce-debut-dhiver-est-il-si-froid-et-gris

Sheesh! Couldn’t you have chosen a better picture of me?

Anyway, gotta run. Time to chop up my bedroom dresser for firewood.

    Brrrrr!
