The annual summer sales are coming up, but with wildly staggered dates according to region in France, Monaco and Italy. To help plan your summer Soldes shopping forays, here are the relevant dates:
- Paris starts price slashing first, with sales starting June 22.
- Next comes Monaco, whose sales start on the 4th of July, which just happens to be the Monday after the Royal Wedding weekend (…nice way to keep the celebratory buzz going!)
- A few days later (finally!) on Wednesday July 6, the summer Soldes kick in for Nice and the entire South of France.
- …Followed by the Italian Riviera (Ventimiglia, Sanremo) on Saturday, July 9th. (Click here for train times from Nice to Sanremo in Engish)
The sales last 5 weeks in France, but 6 weeks in Monaco and Italy, meaning that deep discounts can still be had in Sanremo as late as August 22.
