Apollo Re-Erected at Place Massena

Tomorrow’s Fete de la Musique kicks off early tonight, with the inauguration of the infamous Apollo statue at Place Massena, in the very spot where it was banned thirty years ago for being too scandalous.   Is Apollo’s mojo too much for women’s delicate sensibilities?   The editors of AOL News seemed to think so last April when they photo-shopped out his jewels for an online article about his return.   Well, the waiting is over, now you can be the judge when the big guy is unveiled tonight with a sound and light show at Place Massena at 9pm.   Apollo is the god of music, so the eve of the France-wide Fete de la Musique free-for-all is the perfect timing for his, um, erection at Place Massena.
