It’s music festival madness on the cote this weekend, with the super-fun (and super-affordable) Nuits du Sud latin-flavored fest kicking off in Vence, Jazz a Juan starting its prestigious run in Juan les Pins with top level jazz (…and prices to match), and in Nice, Crazy Week starts with pop sensation Mika and then the ‘voice of Supertramp’ at the Theatre de Verdure.
And tonight is the start of the free Prom’ Parties in Nice: a musical lollapalooza with acts for every taste, each rolling down the Promenade des Anglais on mobile stages. It’s a street party extraordinaire, and tonight, being Bastille Day, it will be punctuated with fab fireworks at 10pm.
