WWII monuments dotted all around town: Quai des Etats-Unis, the Monument aux Morts in the Port, Monument in the middle of the Promenade du Paillon, plaque in Place Rossetti (commemorating the boys that perished in WWI),  and small plaques commemorating specific WWII executions can be found off Palais du Justice, near Galeries Lafayette, and elsewhere, even one in the high school …

And a few monuments in Old Nice…

  • Matisse’s house, Palais Sardes, Adam and Eve, Palais Lascaris, Cannonball plus statue of Catherine Segurane, Fish market fountain, Garibaldi statue, Garibaldi crypt
